Yes. Your coverage remains in place, and you can continue to report new claims and manage existing claims as you do today.

The transition from Economical Insurance to Definity Insurance does not affect your policy, coverage, or claims process. If you have an open claim, it will continue to be handled without interruption. If you need to report a new claim, our claims team is here to help.

New name. Same coverage. Same claims support when you need it most.

Definity Repair Partners are part of our trusted network of repair professionals who can help restore your vehicle or property after a covered claim.

You're free to choose the repair shop or contractor you'd like to use. However, many customers choose a Definity Repair Partner because they're part of a network we've selected for their quality workmanship and service. Using a Definity Repair Partner may include additional benefits, such as a repair warranty for as long as you own your vehicle.

If you're not sure which option is right for you, your claims representative can help explain your choices and guide you through the process.

As we transition to Definity Insurance, you may see a different company name on claim payments or claim-related correspondence.

Depending on your policy, payments may be issued by Definity Insurance Company or Definity Insurance Company of Canada. Regardless of the name on the payment, your claim will continue to be handled securely and in accordance with your policy.

You don't need to take any action if you receive a payment issued under the Definity name.
